Vintage art glass vase of globe and shaft form, with a rounded body rising to a long slender neck and broad flared rim.
The blue glass is richly decorated with mottled copper aventurine inclusions, concentrated around the globular body and drawn upwards towards the neck. The metallic copper tones catch and change with the light, contrasting beautifully with the vivid turquoise-blue glass. Natural variations, bubbles and striations within the glass add further texture and character.
An especially decorative piece displayed on its own, and a strong accent of colour for a shelf, table or mantel.
