This handsome Arts & Crafts fire screen has been hand carved to depict a galleon in full sail. We believe it is early 20th century, circa 1900-1930.
It has relief-carved wood, two panel construction with supporting frame and feet. The wood has a lovely rich brown patina and with a small footprint it makes an interesting decorative feature for a country home or period property.
It has wear commensurate with age and use.
Approximately 70cm high × 70cm wide × 12cm max depth.
